Parlimentary Question submitted to the Irish Dàil - 15th July 2012.
To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if, in light of new evidence, he will ensure that the current partial reopening of the investigation into the downing of the Air France Caravelle F-BOHB plane on 11th Sept 1968, while en route from Corsica to Nice with Irishman Arthur O'Connor on board, is fully re-opened and any tribunal investigating the affair is independent and if he will make a statement on the matter.
For written reply.
Luke 'Ming' Flanagan
Sincerely,

Arthur O'Connor, had been visiting Nice with friends and decided to take a trip to Corsica as he had a keen interest in Napoleon. Unfortunately the weather changed and he was forced to get the plane home.
