New information regarding the crash started to emerge in 1996, when M. Paoli was watching a TV programme in which is mentioned that the Caravelle could have been hit by a missile. From then on the brothers uncovered countless new information and witnesses.
Up until then it had been virtually impossible to find any information because people were still afraid to talk, many were obliged not to talk because they had signed official secret contracts. With the passage of time witnesses were getting older and were now willing to talk. Documents were discovered which raised serious questions about the validity and thoroughness of the investigation.
Many of the documents relating to the crash are still not open to the public to this day as they are deemed "classified as State Secrets" - why?
